Personality:
“I still have so much to do. Discoveries to make, new knowledge to uncover... Science would be dealt a terrible blow were I to perish here...”

The world is full of unsolved riddles and questions far from a solid answer. Scholars and wise men alike always spend their years trying to solve some of these mysteries. Miriel? She is no different from the generation of those who seek answers to the toughest questions and solutions to mysterious riddles.

Miriel is an intelligent woman who believes that anything can be simplified or solved by science. If there is a problem, then she will be the one to create a theory about said problem before starting to experiment for a solution. Accidentally drop an item pouch? She will blabber about the workings of gravity and how factors can affect it such as the weight of the item pouch from the items inside. Are you the type of person who just disappears suddenly from thin air? She will pull you aside and demand an explanation, no matter if it's magic or manipulation of physical presence. Gain her curiosity and you might be even pulled for observation and experimentation. She's not a mad scientist nuthouse, but some say she's getting there... Her large vocabulary due to her large amounts of knowledge inside her head can leave most of her comrades puzzled and confused when she speaks to them. Certainly a woman you don't want to mess with despite being a strict yet passionate scientist and scholar.

Miriel is also someone who is obsession with not only just knowledge, learning, and science, but also organization and cleaning. Her sharp attention to detail can make her spot lost or misplaced items with ease. When it comes to returning the lost item to the original owner, she has no problem with giving them a strict scolding on they should keep a close eye on their belongings. Heck, she will even burn trash or items away with her magic if there is no owner. Her obsessive nature on keeping everything where items should belong made her to be the lone and self-claimed organizer of the army.

"I tend to be a bit obsessive, so I spent most of my time cleaning and sorting. The Shepherds excel at fighting, but their organization skills make me bilious. Whatever is left lying around must be burned. ...See? Fire does the trick."

A mage and member of the original Shepherds, there is not much on Miriel's past besides her relation to her mother, who was a scholar and left behind an old book of theories to Miriel after her death. Most likely the inspiration for learning, Miriel keeps this book like a treasure and gets defensive if it gets lost and some wandering eye accidentally picks it up. The book is puzzling and may be outdated for many years, but it's still highly valued to her. In her support with Gregor, he actually read the book and left notes inside of this treasured book, which actually simplified some of her mother's sentences. It actually gained her curiosity instead of anger that her mother's book was attack by graffiti, which did change her general opinion on Gregor that he is more than a stubborn man who loves women too much. Her supports also reveal that she can easily get so deep into research or reading a book that she can become careless to her surroundings. Careless enough that she almost walked off a cliff when reading and walking at the same time until someone pulled her back to prevent her death.

Abilities/Powers:
Excluding Robin/The Avatar, Miriel is the first recruited Mage of the game, making her very capable with using magic and Tomes (magical books aka the common weapon for magic users in the Fire Emblem series). She grows very steady in her stats, excelling in Magic, Speed, and Skill, but her physical strength and defense is generally on the weak side, giving her an easy death with one false move. With enough training, she can certainly become a deadly force.

For her canon point, I will have her taking the Sage class upgrade after maximizing her skills in her starting Mage class. The Sage class is a combination of both great healing magic and powerful Anima magic, which Miriel has more focus on being an offensive mage. She can become a stable healer if she does possess a staff. While tomes are considered useable yet blank pages among the Fire Emblem cast, I will be following this guideline.

Skills:
● Magic +2: Increases Magic stat by 2 points | Small boost in her magical skills
● Focus: Critical increases by 10 points when not surrounded by allies | Miriel becomes much more aware if she is in combat by herself
● Rally Magic: Increases Magic by 4 points to surrounding allies | Miriel can rally her comrades to increase their abilities, this rally much more useful to fellow magic users.
● Tomefaire: +5 Magic while a Tome is equipped | Her magic is stronger if she fights with a tome

Items/Weapons:
● An Arcwind tome (C rank Wind magic)
● An Bolganone tome (B rank Fire magic)
● An Elixir
